    • Abstract:
In the article, the author discusses burn-in with regards to the article written by Mark Cooper. He is critical on the tone of Van Der Pol, major referrence of the article, where he stated that it was the only screen commonly used to identify infant mortality or to detect substandard components, when actually, there are other screens may at times be more effective. Also, he questions the use of simple burn-in acceleration factors developed in the article.
