    • Abstract:
The article presents the author's views regarding the comment to his article on infant mortality and burn-in effectiveness. He argues that the information given was not assumptions, rather, an empirical model well grounded in an extensive experimental data set and he did not assert that any single failure is appropriate to a complete explanation of infant mortality in integrated circuits. He believes that good infant monitoring programs are those that contain appropriate mitigation features.
