    • Abstract:
The article argues on the impossibility of a uniform interpretation of the United Nations (UN) Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Topics discussed include the different official languages of the convention, different sources of law under different legal systems that make decisions difficult, absence of a Supreme Court of CISG to resolve conflicts of interpretation, tension on consistency of interpreting CISG with domestic law, and judge's approach to uniformity.
