The Parker University Library is committed to supporting learning and research by providing various resources and services, including access to online tutorials as well as library instruction for students and faculty.

Bibliographic Information

Instructional sessions cover a range of library resources and services, can be tailored to specific needs,  and can be delivered to groups both large and small. One-on-one appointments are also available. Sessions can include multiple topics, and generally last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on number – and nature – of topics covered.

Current offerings include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

 Library resources and services overview

  • Basic and advanced database searching (includes PubMed and EBSCO databases)
  • Introduction to EBP and research (including PICO question formulation; focus on applying these concepts when performing research)
  • Reference management tools (the Library currently provides instruction on Zotero 5.0 reference management software)
